    Looking back to yesterday and then into the mirror of today, I see a very different person….much different from the person who first joined this amazing community almost a year ago.
Change is inevitable….and I was one who resisted change at any opportunity.  Now, a bit older and a bit wiser I find I more frequently look at change as growth and opportunity as opposed to something to be avoided.

Two of the greatest lessons that I have - thankfully and finally grasped are:

    1)  Love Is All - that is really all there IS….
    2)  Anger is NEVER justified…ever.

I have also learned that the perceived detours and obstacles in my past that prevented me from finding and walking my  true path were actually opportunities in disguise. 

And then the really BIG lesson - Forgiveness - as taught in A
 Course In Miracles.   The Miracle doesn't DO anything - it UNDOES……The Miracle is the change in perceprion - the change in thought that one is never separate from God….which brings me back to my first lesson learned….Love (The Universal Life Force / God / The God Force / The Universe) Is All There Is.


        I am very fortunate and at the same time very grateful…I have lived through many and varied adversities, and I am able to look back on those events as learning opportunities.  The easier path would have been to remain in a state of anger and bitterness….which is not a path at all -  but an unending, circular spiral leading nowehere.

        I love learning new things…ANYTHING basically.  I have yet to run across truly useless information or ideas…It's all about perspective.
 
        My GREATEST DISCOVERY, however, has to be the immense power contained within our thoughts.  Who we are, Where we are and What we are doing is the direct result of nothing but OUR THOUGHTS!

As I reached mid-life I didn't have a crisis, so I created one - of sorts!  I took a long hard look at my life and listened to some very sound advice and made the decision to pursue a second degree - This time in Interior Design.

This has been a life long dream and passion of mine.  I eat, sleep and breathe anything to do with design, art and architecture.  Having the opportunity to do this is something I make a point to be thankful for - and to do so EVERYDAY!  For all the questions I have about life, this much I do know - design IS one of my main purposes!
